Dogodendron partnered with katto to create a digital experience reflecting the personality and atmosphere of their boutique pet concept. The challenge was balancing playful energy with a premium and design-focused presentation. The project combined e-commerce, storytelling, and brand expression into a platform designed around community, personality, and contemporary retail experience.

The process began by understanding Dogodendron as more than a shop. The brand operates somewhere between retail destination, community space, and lifestyle concept. Research explored independent retail experiences, hospitality references, and design-led consumer brands rather than traditional pet industry systems. This shifted the direction toward creating a stronger cultural identity.

The identity system combines warmth with restraint. Typography remains clean and structured while introducing moments of playfulness through illustration and interaction. Visual language supports product storytelling without overwhelming navigation or usability. The system feels approachable while maintaining clarity.

The platform combines product discovery with editorial content and community features. Shopping feels integrated into storytelling rather than separated from it. Filters, product structures, and navigation systems were designed to feel intuitive and lightweight. The result creates a retail experience built around curiosity and exploration.

Additional layers including featured dogs, local events, and journal content introduced stronger community engagement opportunities. These elements transformed the platform from a store into a shared destination. The system creates stronger relationships between audience and brand.

The final platform reflects Dogodendron’s unique mix of quality, personality, and community. The result creates a digital environment where design-focused retail and culture naturally overlap.
